Pics from Iraq.

I just thought I would share some pics I took while Vacationing in Iraq:

Me in my HUMVEE

Me and my friend Jeff

Me handing out school supplies to the local kids

Me with a Pesh-merga soldier (Kurd soldier)

Shooting a AT4...it almost broke his nose.

An Iraqi Sunrise

My filthy room

Dahuk, Iraq

Downtown Dahuk

What a 7.62 AK round does to a UpArmored HUMVEE door

Re: Pics from Iraq.

Are things fairly safe in Dohuk? I know the area is goverened by the Kurds and one of the safer zones of Iraq. I've got some investments in the Kurdish region of Erbil/Irbil/Arbil(OIL related) which is close by so I'll take any info you are allowed to share of the area with great interest. I also hear that there are a plentiful amount of landmines there(placed during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq War) so be careful where you step.

The Kurds govern themselves. More than I can say about Iraqis. They HATE arabs and despise the insurgents...so for the most part it is safe. But when we go there, we still stay alert for anything. The Pesh-merga(I think thats how it is spelled) is a kurdish soldier and they are some bad-ass dudes. They guard the checkpoints and kick all arabs out of kurdistan(northern iraq).
