Fiirst Impressions on retail

OMG im in love.

Where to start...

Well, i just got done playing a few maps with Blackmain SL'in. I got like 4 or 5 ranks within an hour. Plus blackmain gave orders and we followed them which gave us like a field upgrade every 10 mintues. So needless to say it was VERY EASY to get around 10 toys to play with. Make sure you have a squad that follows orders and youll like the game a LOT more.

I was playing mainly support. That gun rocks when you know how to use it. Sentry gun is awesome at laying down suppresive fire. EMP nades are essential to help out engy's.

The maps are gorgeous. Camp of Gibraltar is nice and bright and really easy on the eyes. Belgrade is the new Karkand and the tall buildings make you really feel like youre in a huge city.

Well, ill be playing all night so put me on your list - Snail788 and join up!

Re: Fiirst Impressions on retail

I notice that there's less sway when aiming, I like that. It's not like I'm trying to do push-ups and snipe at the same time.

I also notice that the moment I score a point PB kicks me. So I haven't gotten very far into the game yet.

I'm playing as ArfimusBark since I can't play as Arf.

Snail have you played Titan mode yet? Any lag? I don't think I'll have my game for a day or two.

I can't play for more than 2-3 minutes at a time before getting disconnected from the master servers. It's quite the pain in the ass.

Snail - you say you like support. Did you get the shield thingy unlock? That looks like fun and I'm tempted to grab it first.

Re: Fiirst Impressions on retail

dont know...servers work fine for me. Lag is pretty much gone on titan as long as theres not like 60 people on the server. The IPS shield is awesome, but the sentry gun is better IMO. Berlin is such a sweet sweet map...ahh!!!!

Re: Fiirst Impressions on retail

So far I've had fun. The Titan mode still gets jittery when you're on the Titan but moving it isn't killing the server. I unlocked the squad leader beacon, I don't know why.

Re: Fiirst Impressions on retail

I'm LOVING IT
Haven't encountered any lag, love the support gun (but my conscious tells me to unlock the defib, even though I want the sentry gun).
I love the shield, and it's come into VERY good use on the titan (less out in the open).
Boomer258. Find me.

Re: Fiirst Impressions on retail

Apophis have you installed the client side patch if you bought a physical copy? Not sure if that's the problem or not.
