3 ctd's last night. The third one happened the exact instant someone (Redbane?) on TS asked if anyone was having ctd problems.

Had only 1, and it was on our server yesterday, were you on TGs or a pubbie when it happened? Just curious as maybe it will help with the troubleshooting.

Yup.

I crashed to desktop 3 times tonight on TG's ranked server. I must have only crashed twice ever on BF2. Weird.

I'm getting CTDs and I never had them in the beta. I also tend to lockup on a map switch so I have to kill bf2142 process and start the game fresh.

twice so far since I bought the game...

TotalBf2142 does hae a issue solver stuff on their site about CTD if you are experiencing it big time...

Basically it is a conflict between BF2142 and one of the Windows security updates... There is a hotfix released for that security update released very very recently.

I will post it again once I get more detail or you guys should be able find details if you dig a bit more.

I have gotten crashed to desktop, disconnects in game, Blue Screen of Death. I still love this game.

A few times a night for 2142. Doesn't happen in BF2 that often for me, but I notice it happens once a month or so in POE2. I've gotten a couple soft reboots as well.

I've noticed there are a few bugs in 2142 that got fixed in BF2 a long time ago. Maybe it's server problems, but I get the stuck machine gun sounds every once in a while now as well.
