Oh wait... I DONT OWN A BANK ACCOUNT! Haha... Silly scammers...

I got that like 2 years ago. They also send out one for E-bay and everyone else. Realy they just spam it hoping to get a hit on someone who both has an account there, and is dumb enough to respond.

Is there any way to trace these guys who send the emails? Or are they pretty much safe as long as they are careful?

Fifth Third Bank has been telling me weekly for about 4-5 months that my account has been tampered with. They have got to have the worst security ever. :P

Not really, it's mostly done by compromised Windows computers.

Im 18 and have a Student Checking account with BofA... I've gotten 3 emails from spammmers saying things quite like it... When you sign up for an account they specificly say "We will NEVER email you requesting anything." Which is funny, because i get real legit emails from BofA all the time...

Huh... I've had a banking account since I was little, and a checking account since I was 12 and got my first job and started filing tax returns... I guess I just can't imagine life without one.
