old TG mods
Can we trash the older tgcustom mods from our call of duty folder? (ie. tgcustom15, 10, 8, etc)
Being that we are at tgcustom16. I'm cleaning out all the mods that aren't being used to save some more HD space.

Re: old TG mods
I'll wait for Strag to give you a reliable answer but what I will say is that I plan to uninstall all CoD2 stuff from my computer and then reinstall everything. There is quite a lot of junk in my CoD directory and I'm not sure what I can delete and what I need so I'm just going to start all over again.

Re: old TG mods
A few days ago I started removing all the mods and put them in a different directory called CoD2 MODs, and pretty much started from scratch. If I joined a server and it started downloading a mod, I would disconnect and see if I had it in my mod folder, if so I put it back in the correct spot, but also color labeled the file (MAC OSX function) so I knew what server it was for.
Long story short, my CoD2 directories stay nice and tidy, with just a little more effort. Anyway, I think it's probably safe to say I can trash the older TG MODs. The worst that can happen is I'll have to redownload them again. I'll wait for Strags answer just to make sure though.

Re: old TG mods
As far as TG goes, the three active game directories we're using right now are:
tgcustom16 (normal open server play) tgtourn16 (scrim play) tgtrain1 (training) All of our other old game directories can be deleted. |

Re: old TG mods
I'm trying to clean up my 3rd party maps in my main folder.....
The following are the mods that I think were downloaded from the TG server that I have in my Main folder: bhc.iwd bp3.iwd m1.iwd m10.iwd m11.iwd m12.iwd m13.iwd m14.iwd m15.iwd m17.iwd m18.iwd mp4.iwd mp5.iwd mp6.iwd mp9.iwd Can you tell me which ones are used on the TG server? And also if I'm missing any. Some might be from a different server, and that's kinda what I'm trying to determine here.

Re: old TG mods
Sorry, Vir2L, I missed this somehow. Maybe somebody's been eating my cookies.
![]() The map packs we use are: bhc.iwd bp3.iwd mp1.iwd mp2.iwd mp3.iwd mp4.iwd mp5.iwd mp6.iwd mp7.iwd mp8.iwd mp9.iwd m10.iwd m11.iwd m12.iwd m13.iwd m14.iwd m15.iwd m17.iwd m18.iwd Of course, we don't use all of these at the same time, and I'd have to look on the server to see which ones are actually in use right now. In any case, if you keep all of these handy in a separate folder, you can move them into your main folder whenever they're needed. A few new decent maps have been released for S&D, and I intend to create a new map pack for them called m19.iwd. Hopefully I can get it done before tomorrow night's CoD2 action. |

Re: old TG mods
Thanks Strag, I figured my post just got overlooked. =D
Sounds good about a new mappack as well, can you include COMMANDO in it? They just released a new version of it with fixes, its now 1.1. It has a great insertion point for the assaulting team with some neat ideas implemented in the map.

Re: old TG mods
Here's a video of the possible insertion procedure(s).
http://www.team-zamis.com/map/projet/entree_chateau.wmv You might need to right click and save to disk to play it.
