|1.FJR| host a 2v2 TDM tournament

Hello there.

I represent the 1st Fallschirmjager Regiment. We are a tactical realism unit based in the COD2 FPS.

My unit is inviting anyone and everyone to take part in a 2 vs 2 TDM bolt action rifle only tournament. All matches will be played on Toujane with the later games being played on a map not yet chosen. The teams will be completely random, chosen not by us but by a simple program downloaded from the net ensuring absolute fairness. I.e, there will be no 2 x |1.FJR| players vs 2 x [17th AB] players unless it is chosen by the program.

There will be no use of pistols, grenades, scopes or any other weapon other than the bolt action rifle. Unfortunatly the WRM realism mod doesn't allow you to deactivate pistols so we will be using a rifles only mod. TR rules will not apply as this is purely for fun and to help create more of a community within COD2 by mixing players from various clans and putting them on the same side. I know it's short notice but hopefully that won't deter too many of you. Besides, taking the good response into consideration that we've had so far from other TR units it's almost a dead cert that we will be organising something like this again in the near future.

I dont think you will get to much interest here. We are more tactical and group oreinted. And im sorry i was alittle slow.

I know that you guys are a tactical community.. so is everyone that has replied to the thread on our forums. We've only invited other tactical realism players.

The worst that could happen is your rifle skills will get a good airing.

Welcome Beckenbauer. Good to have you here. I am sure that if someone is interested they will contact you. If time permits I may stop by and see if I may be able to make it. The more we see each other on the battlefield the more we can get a good seeding of the servers. Again welcome.
