Question Next practice

So, since our ruminant warrior is AFK for a few weeks, I am trying to organize our next practice. I will try to get us a guest DI (or 2 if I'm lucky), and I'd like to know what you would like to work on. We can cover basic things, kit tips and tricks, attack/defend. Speak up!

THis might give you some ideas:TGU Wiki.

Cheers.

Re: Next practice

Personally I would like to work on formations and forming fire teams. I have been trying to assign fire teams when I SL but don't have a lot of practice with it.

Re: Next practice

I wouldnt mind showing up for practice as a DI. And i have a bit of experience using fireteams. (though John has WAY more) The real issue is whether I will be home next saturday........maybe i should just pack up the ole desktop and taker with me.

Would there be any other things anyone would want to cover? Got any newbies who would want to run through the first three TGU modules?

I was about to post a link in the TGU forum (as bait for DIs )

Newbies ? You must have meant new Irregs

I guess the first three modules can be found in the TGU Wiki ?

What we have done a few times, based on how many people show up, is split up the group, one team goes through one drill (let's say basic formation/movement), the other team practices something else (kit usage, armor drill, etc), the we regroup and practice more advanced formation, tactics, etc. A good turnout is usually 10-12 people.

Not that I'll be there...but these are great topics to cover. Being able to quickly organize a squad into some order, especially when there are new or non-TG players involved, is a big help.

Damn vacations...I'm starting to go into serious TG withdrawl...

Cheers,
