Wow and they still passed? English departments at American universities are worthless.

Re: Oedipus

Wow, I am amazed at the D.....I would have either failed the writer or given them an A for creativity.
Pretty funny though.

Re: Oedipus

Thumbs up to the student for having the balls to do his paper like that.

Thumbs down to the teacher for giving him a D instead of an F and a kick in the groin.

Re: Oedipus

Wow i wish i had balls that large. Ive been tempted to do something like his page 3 but thought better of it. The language kinda does fit the story since there was some pretty gross incest and all.

Re: Oedipus

isn't it fairly clear from the handwriting and marking standard that the person who wrote the essay and the person who "graded" the essay are the same person? seems like parody to me.

Yeah, the marking on page 3 was the clincher for me:

No question mark at the end of "Where is the text!"
Spelling error: "Page is to big."

Either the teacher is an embarrassment to the school system or someone else marked the essay.

Funny nonetheless.

Re: Oedipus

Thanks for the real funny read. The exclamatory question and misuse of the word "too" on page three lead me to believe one of the student's friends or the author himself did the grading.
