12/2 Car Ramrod's lucky day
Let's be honest fellow TGers....
The only reason Car survived is I ran out of rockets, Arf couldn't throw a grenade, and Penguin had to be practically in Car's hip pocket with a med kit!!! Nice night guys...plus out to Arf, Von, Sparky and the rest. Short night but I think we brought so badly needed competion to the other side. Hehe, next time I think I'll rename the squad Car Crushers ![]() Oh and don't think I forgot about you Reader!! I would have blasted you more if you wern't hiding behind your other 5 meat shields ![]() Great time troops!! |

Re: 12/2 Car Ramrod's lucky day
I'd like to shout out to my LEARN TG squads last night as well.
Sometimes we had a large number of TG players in the squad and others it was just Arf, me and four new guys. Some great team players and a lot of guys with VOIP. We had a few really awesome rounds which were well COd by Lazrith. The highlights were probably the Berlin rounds where we had some really intense battles with a number of squads and Cerbere at the very end of my play time with one of the tightest squads I have ever played with. The last round of Cerbere, our medics were working so hard, our squad had 9 deaths total for the whole round and nobody with more than 2. Well done guys. The last week has been great testament to teamwork for 2142 at TG. |

BIG UPs to Lazirith!!! Iknow he lead us to at least two wins in a row and he provided excellent direction to ALL squads to pull us back for a 1 - 0 WIN!!! Second Experiment.. You are not dignified enough to talk about my Meat Shields!!! Those excellent squad members "Cantab, Zwood, SgtFine, Veetwo and Virigoth. Get double thanks and +++ to their reps from me!!! Those worthy SM kept me alive and revived me about 15 times in a 5 minute period on Gibralter, where we had to run back and retake the EU base, from the Toll Station! And to hold it for the win!!! This might not seem like much, to you. But that include two revives while the squad was dying around me. That included fighting off two opfor and then sliding down the ladder to revive me after my dead body slid through the hole to fall at the bottom of one of the towers. I forgot to mention, I died twice in the tower befor I fell to the bottom. And the most important staying alive and reviving me after I lost my spawn beacon and was switched to a NUBE Level recon kit (I think on the 2nd revive). All I could do was run and run and run. The only way I can make it clear as to how proud I was of them is to use a quote from one of my favorite movies (Henry V, 1989), with slight editing. "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers, For he today who sheds his blood with me shall be my brother," .... AND WELCOMED ANY TIME IN MY SQAUD. AND SQUAD LEADERS... "shall think themselves acursed they were not here, and hold their manhoods cheap whilst any speaks, that fought" WITH Cantab, Zwood, SgtFine, Veetwo and Virigoth at Gibralter on 2 DECEMBER 2006! |

Re: 12/2 Car Ramrod's lucky day
We all know that the run to EU base saved the game for us... And there was nothing experiment could do about it... Reader - I'll be a meat shield for you anytime!

[quote]Car crushers? Sounds like a dangerous "experiment" to me. Bah da bum. I'll be here all week. Tip your waitresses... I'm surprised Penguineer didn't give me any crap in this thread for leading the squad on a 2 minute hike to nowhere. lol Last edited by carRamrod; 12-19-2006 at 05:46 PM. Reason: typo |
