Good games tonight!
Ran Lucky Squad through a number of maps tonight and wanted to hit on the high points before turning in. Lutsk, Fallen twice, Spies Like Us, Carpathian Mountains twice and Dnister River Valley. Thanks to CptCuervo, Barracuda Magoo, MoreGooder, Tau Neutrino, Mord Siboo, FreekyE, Tha Khan, Santa, Pjaronex, SpudVaepor, Kill-9, and USTom for hitting the squad tonight.
Highlights had to be the fight over the Radar Station at Dnister River Valley as they enemy rolled squad after squad after squad at us in an attempt to get that flag back. We lost it a couple times but held onto it for very long periods of the game. The first Fallen match had the Ukraine side leading going into the final minute but somehow we were able to pull even before pulling ahead at the very last ticket. Incredible ending... ![]() And of course, battling over one of my favorite flags, the North Cabin against Birdie's squad. It's rare where an opposing SL (who isn't Mantis) puts up such a fierce defense. Props to him and his squad for throwing up the brick wall. We were finally able to pull it away from him, but it cost us a lot of tickets. It was especially fun having Cuervo and Birdie trading barbs over teamspeak as the squads hit one another. I did get a screenshot of Birdie's squad in action though. ![]() ![]() Good games tonight! Lucky Shot |

Re: Good games tonight!
My thanks to all of you guyz that made last nite possible and a fine electronic gaming experience. I'd been in another of our servers earlier in the evening, finding myself in a squad w/out any other TGers. Night and Day difference playing with our own members. Never enjoyed dieing repeatedly as much as I did last nite. Nagging Question of the Nite: Were we the only squad that noticed some almost clairvoyant abilities on the part of some enemy personnel? Hmmmmmmmm.

Re: Good games tonight!
Very good games last night...I came on around 10:00 p.m. when I saw the PRM server empty. Joined up with Emale and company and battled away. Germany pounded us for 2 or 3 maps and finally we got on track with a victory on Fallen. I love that map. Pure infantry and small squad tactics. Kudos to Emale for utilizing fire teams just so on this map. Many times Alpha and Bravo were placed in tactically superior positions to act as a blocking force or the hammer on the anvil. How great is it to be in position, waiting for the enemy to come to you because they were channelled that way, and then pounce on them and wipe out their squad...Much fun last night...thanks to all who participated.

As long as the enemy does not advance in overwhelming numbers, this tactic greatly helps identify the location of advancing forces and enables a successful flanking attack by one of the fireteams, while the other engages the enemy directly. I modified John.C's technique with what I call the 'Canary in the Cage', which allows for three points to be covered at once. Seemed to work well last night. E-Male

Re: Good games tonight!
Dam you weeknights and having to get up early! I played a bit of PR, and a little POE but took off just before 10 when there was not too much traffic playing POE.
Looks like I just missed it.
