PC DVD/CD drives Region coded for games?
Hi,
I'm selling my copy of Joint operations typhoon rising plus its expansion pack Escalation on ebay. I guy in L.A wants to know if it will work on his PC with no issues. The game is an online multiplayer FPS, does anyone know if any problems would come from him registering with my UK copy? Also would the DVD/CD drive be region coded so it wouldn't work on his PC? Thanks in advance

Re: PC DVD/CD drives Region coded for games?
I've never known a PC game to be region coded for DVD/CD drives.
Although, don't be shocked if your buyer complains about words like "colour" and "favourite" being spelled with a 'u'. |

Re: PC DVD/CD drives Region coded for games?
Check the publisher/developer or tech support to see if each regional copy's disk is region coded. I know a lot of the newer games are being released with region coded CDs and DVDs. So it might be the case on older games, but check to make sure first, don't assume it so/not so.
