I had a fun game and POE is back in rotation!

I have not played POE in about two months since I purchased BF 2142. I'm having alot of fun playing BF 2142 but I am going to move POE (and BF 2) back into my play rotation. I had an exciting round after I downloaded the latest BF 2 patch. It's a great game.

It's interesting how easy it is to move between the Battlefield games. They all have a similar feel. I had not honestly played in two months and it was just like I played yesterday. Pretty cool.

If anyone has not tried BF 2142 I'd encourage you rotate it into your gameplay as it has alot of depth and is just plain fun. There is great things happening on the server and we have brought in alot of quality players.

I move back-and-forth between the two, and the only issue I've had is forgetting that the spacebar doesn't open your chute in BF2

It can be mapped.

This is how I did it:



My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\xxx\controls.con

xxx = the profile that you most commonly use (or do it for all of them).

Then the lines that should be replaced are:

ControlMap.addKeyToTriggerMapping c_PIWeaponSelect9 IDFKeyboard IDKey_9 10000 0

which should be changed to this:

ControlMap.addKeyToTriggerMapping c_PIWeaponSelect9 IDFKeyboard IDKey_Space 10000 0

All right!
