Need some help!

Ok guys I bit on the Armed Assault hook, and downloaded the german version last night. It finally finished an hour ago and I was looking forward to play it. I downloaded the english patch and everything. I click on the shortcut on my desktop and it says..
"This application has failed to start because D3DX9_30.DLL was not found. Re-installing this application may fix the problem"
Well it didnt...so needless to say I am kinda pissed. I am not a computer nerd ny no means and some tech support from you guys would be great. Thanks, Dirtboy

I would just install it again, it only takes a few minutes. Cant hurt to try.

hey guys just trying to see where I sit as far as FPS goes. I have heard whilin in game to use fraps, is that the only or should I say easiest way? is Fraps free??

FRAPS records videos of your game, it'll only drop your FPS

It mentions in the German section about what you need to download if you get a Direct X error.

It only records if you tell it to, the FPS counter uses almost no resources.

Dirtboy, do you have the latest version of DirectX? If you haven't updated in awhile try going to www.microsoft.com/directx and installing it.

Just for the record, I didn't know what to do when I got that direct X error, but luckily for me Panzerhans was on TS and he told me the solution

Great...it works now. I am gonna need alot of practice. there is alot of controls compared to CS:S.
