Desktop icons reverting back to standard places after restart
This may have to do something about my recent installation of the Vista Customization Pack for Windows XP.
Whenever I start my PC, log into Windows XP, I always find all of my desktop icons all lined up in its standard location. The only thing that doesn't make the icons revert is a stand-by. Now, who knows if they can help me on this one?

Re: Desktop icons reverting back to standard places after restart
Well, if you didn't change anything else, then it must be from the Vista pack. What exactly does the pack do? Get XP ready for the upgrade? Does it run every time you boot up?

Re: Desktop icons reverting back to standard places after restart
Well, if it changes the interface/desktop every time you login, then it would also be changing the icons on the desktop, and mabey not read their position files on the desktop. Try what Calvin said, or look through the prefrences of the program for things about the desktop/icons.
