Anyone have language patch .08 lying around?

The Armed Assault 1.02 patch doesn't work in 64-bit Windows, and the only "workaround" presented on the Armed Assault forums is to install it on a different computer. So, it looks like I'm stuck playing 1.01... but it seems like all the links and downloads to the language patch for version 1.01 (v.08 of the language patch) have disappeared from the internet.

Anyone have a copy of this lying around I can grab?

fldash, I don't know. There are posts from people experiencing the problem on the BI forums, but nothing from the developers that I can see.

yeah I'm having the same problem...I'd love to get the Germ-English patch working so I can read what's going on but I can't find the .08 either...

Runs fine on my system though surprisingly

I believe I read a possible workaround for your issue...try going into "safe mode" and installing the patch...I read on the official forum that some people are having some success trying to install the patch that way.

I had the same problem and got so frustrated I installed my old non 64 bit version of XP. I have 2 partitions on my harddrive so it wasn't a huge issue...but it would have been nice for the darn patch to work before I read about this possible fix!!!

The safe mode thing appears to work: I was able to install the 1.02 patch in safe mode.

Edit: I had some other issues, but I've got them fixed now. The safe-mode trick works.

Unfortunately, on the missions I've been having trouble with it only gives me one soldier.
