POE2 Map Pack
Six new maps and and video.
http://totalbf2.filecloud.com/files/...file_id=323506 The maps look great. Top quality no doubt. I'm looking forward to playing City of the Dead. Any chance some of these could go into rotation? |

Re: POE2 Map Pack
Unfortunately I doubt we will be able to host these maps. Now the official POE map pack that gets announced today(Saturday)...we may be able to do that provided its promotion on the POE website is high and internally we promote it heavily. For now we'll wait to see how that gets handled and then the admin staff may have some decisions to make.

Re: POE2 Map Pack
I forgot about the map pack winner being announced on the 23rd. I found a thread that lists all the maps that were entered. It seems that the map pack released by Jaws was part of the contest but he pulled them.

Re: POE2 Map Pack
Has anyone DL'ed any of the maps and tried them out? Would like to know how the game play is.

Re: POE2 Map Pack
Hi fellas,
The maps in my map pack that would be suitable for your organization are: Day of Damnation Night of the Damned No Man's Land Hell Awaits These maps contain all layers including 64. The first two maps are armor centric while the last two are mainly infy only (trench warfare). the other two maps are mainly for small lan or competitive play and would be crowded with more than 24 players. I won't go fully into the details of why I pulled my maps from the contest but I will say that being I had multiple maps, I felt it was an unfair advantage to the other mappers that were learning how to map. Everybody needs to be thrown a bone now and then. I get plenty of exposure as it is so I pulled my maps and decided to support the other mappers...I actually finished one guy's map for him because he just didn't have time or the knowledge to do so. At this point in time, the folks over at POE have decided to throw their support to my map pack even though I advised against doing so. I really just want to see the spotlight on the new mappers. I'm not going to argue with them because in the end, we're all one small community and that's why I'm here. To help support them in the best way that I can. The maps are doing well though, 600+ downloads in less than 24hrs and we had some packed servers last night. Anywho, the maps are there for your enjoyment should you decide to play them. Happy Holidays! --Jaws |

Re: POE2 Map Pack
That's good news, Jaws. I think it would be an excellent idea to support such an endeavor. Why cant TG be the place to spread the gospel? How can his mappack get exposure if there is no place to expose it?

Re: POE2 Map Pack
Great work on the maps Jaws. Thanks for your time.
I am curious about the (trench warfare) maps.
