Sound Card Problem

Today I salvaged a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS from one of my dad's PCs. I put it in the 4th PCI slot, because a guide told me to, installed the latest drivers for the Audigy 2ZS on the Creative website and plugged by headset mic and audio jacks into the sound card, but there's no sound at all!

Another note, I did not use an installation CD for the sound card, because, well, I could not find it.

What were you using for sound previously? If it was onboard sound, go to the BIOS and turn it off.

That SoundMAX program with onboard sound, yes I did shut it off, and still no sound.

Oops, I solved the problem myself, it's just that I plugged in my headset in the incorrect spots.
