12/29/06 Ouch

So I signed up for the 1 year in order to play on the server without the kicks.

Thats when I discovered what I had been missing, mass destruction of one side.

I have no idea why most of the TG members ended up on one team but it seemed a serious advantage. It seems that as people dropped and came back they all ended up on the same team. Buddy list maybe? I watched my team lose 8 straight with none nearer than 40 points and some rounds the gap was almost 160. Brutal.

The TG teams are very effective but when commanders order single squads out to attack entrenched TG positions, well my kdr is over in the corner whimpering.

Things I noticed, Rifle Rocket spam seriously increasing. That or people are getting more accurate. Hard to tell but I died much more to them today then previously. Did a camp gibraltor and 3 squads spawned to toll and started mining it. Sadly this meant the entire TG contents of my team were at toll when the other team hit harbor. Was funny but not a good start to the round. Has anyone noticed the AAA guns not locking onto Helos? Got tone only once for the alt fire but the missles still seemed to home in when launched.

Need new tactics, very frustrating to use good stealth and recon deep into berlin only to run dead smack into a TG squad at outpost. I did get to say hi via Zeller to a few guys squadded with Feh at Square on my last round. Felt good since they were kicking my backside all night.

Very frustrating and not too enjoyable night for me due to the rampant losses.

This happens to all of us at one time or another. If reported to the admins, they will happily make the server randomise the teams. I have been on the giving and receiving end of nights like this and more recently, we have randomised the teams to make sure it doesn't continue. Sometimes however, admins aren't in-game to identify the problem and a gentle reminder on TeamSpeak will help.

Further discussion in the Even Fight thread.

Yep, after patch 1.10 the triple A only lock onto attack helo not the transport one. This makes my MANPAD even more useless. And yes I know how you feel man. I ended up leading an A squad of all TGs in an A team mostly made up of TGs against the other team with only a handful of TGers.

They put up a commendable fight but proved to be no match for us. The rate at which we slaughter them was simply too fast, the game finished with 120 tickets on my side. The commander was just sit back and enjoy since he didn't even have to give order, the 4 TG SLs on my side pretty much know how to organize among themselves. And yes, I would be royally pissed to play other loosing side as they have no hope.

I was on TS last night (on the winning side) and after a few slaughters we decided to switkch up the teams. I left shortly after, but TS is the way to go for unbalanced teams.

Thanks for helping to keep this place up though! No more kicks for you!

Re: 12/29/06 Ouch

I understand what the OP is saying, but I think it is rare. I have been playing a little while now on the server and most games are very close. I have had tons of games that were very close, usually within ten tickets, and I have seen more 1 ticket games in this place than anywhere else. I have also seen some teams not give up and come back from what seems like a hopeless situation to ultimately win by a few.

Great server and great gamers.
