Now I may not be the best commander in the world but frankly even I know that when we have 1 base you assign someone to defend it. Yet constantly tonight my team was toasted over and over by a single squad. A 4 man ADN squad. These guys are good and fight in a totally compact unit. Which means DEFENSE of which I saw virtually none at all all night. Defense is not 50 meters from the flag no mines no sensors no sentry guns. We lost a series of flags on Berlin to these guys since they move in a 4 man unit and can drop a flag in 30 seconds. We lost Roadblock with 2 squads standing 60 meters to one side and 4 people on the second floor above it. Why? No static defense. It wasn't mined, there were no sentry guns, no one had stationed a beacon etc etc etc.

P.S. This is a Rant, no real need to respond atm. Going back on the server.

PPS> Seeing a lot of single man locked squads. I do this when sniping but now seeing 3 or 4 at a time on some teams.

Perfectly aceptable to have them merge their squads...in fact it is even a command open to the commander. 3 solo man squads is pretty unreasonable, and I find that if you ask them, 50% of the time they will go join one of the larger squads. If they do not and it is detrimental to the team, guess what...they are kickable for not following SL and CO orders. Problem solved. Just give them a chance to form up first, warn, and then come find us.
