Fallen and Carpathian 1/2

Plenty of fun rounds tonight but for me, the best squad play happened on Fallen and later on Carpathian. Not only that, but witht he rest of the 5th grumbling about having to defend any flags named North Cabin, we had a chance to see other parts of the map.

Fallen seemed to have the strongest grouping of opponents and the most organized attacks. Initially we pushed for the Trenches flag and took it only to be wiped off that flag. The defending squad made it very difficult for us to even cross the river, so after a couple rushes, we spawned in at the crashsite with our eyes on the south cabin. From there on out, we held that flag for all but a couple moments. The toughest battles were when the 33rd baited us east and some sneaky guy flipped the flag. We fell back and quickly took it back. Good games to Nex911, Rockford, Intron, Mephisto, MoreGooder, Robocop, and XCannon.

Carpathian held constant action for us as we took on the task of defending the lumbermill flag. That is an insane flag to defend, especially as the enemy would come in from absolutely any direction. The biggest key was to spot them early and defend the flag well before the enemy could come close. It was tough just figuring out where the enemy would come from next. Props to all that were in my squad that round including Icky, Mephisto, Sawviper, Rockford, MoreGooder and Doctor-Pwnage. Icky ended the round with 57 teamwork points just by merely heaving ammo packs around the flag. Without it though, it would have been a far different battle.

Great Games tonight and it was especially fun seeing such strong showings by the in house squads (33rd, 12th, 5th, 7th)!

Indeed. You can throw the TOC crew in there as well...I know we ran into them quite a bit on Dnipro. Hope Wed sees similar results...I know I'll be there.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I always tend to be on too early or too late for these rounds. :/

Can't work out how to have several different images [such as banners and ribbons] in the signature, so I will drop that project for now...

Caesar counted on his veteran Gaul legions. Napoleon had his Old Guard. Queen Victoria was well served by the Cold Stream Guards. Tactical Gamer can always rely on the

Waaa! Nobody got me a screenshot? I was #1 in points with something like a 15-2 k/d and at least 4 flag defence points!

Thanks for using lots of ammo guys.

Sorry to the guys who tried to sneak up on our flag. I never took my eyes off of it for the entire game.

It was great to see all of those people on. We need some tuning up for the scrim, and I hope everyone on the scrim list will put in lots of time with PoE over the next while.

Yeah I've been trying to get on every night. We also had an almost full 12th squad going last night duking it out with the 33rd on Fallen. That was a very fun round.
