Mic

I have a Plantronics Electronics dsp 500 usb headset which I have never been able to use in voip in bf2.I can hear fine but mic does not work.Works on ventrillo and teamspeak.I read on a forum once that bf2 voip does not work with usb mics.Is that true and does anyone use a usb mic and have it working with voip.

I use a USB mic and it works fine. I'm not sure how to help you though.

I have the EXACT same headset as you do micbur54 (DSP-500) and it works great in BF2.

Got it working!Played with the xp control panel settings.Got the right ones checked i guess.Don't really know.
