2142 not detecting my disc....

After reinstalling several times trying different varieties of patches i simply cannot get 2142 to realize the disc is in the drive......(yes i really own the game and it isnt pirated)

The real kicker is that i need to fix this somehow before saturday or i cant run the 2142 TGU event.....

Found an issue with Daemon tools....works now.......thanks, ME, for all the help
