01/04 10pm We rule Roadblock. 2|0 WIN
WALMART SQUAD
Master_Editor SL Slicklizard Defcon-1 Fehmart Skidakiller This was just after a massive blowout were PAC could not get out of the UCB. We're now EU. SL had us hold roadblock from the start. Crossroads falls quickly. We never lost Roadblock and in the end that was our only flag. Several times we are losing by about 25 tickets only to pull thru at the end with a 2|0 win for the EU. Actually I have it all recorded but I can't find any real interesting parts that stand out. It was pretty much kill as much enemy as possible while running like a madman around the building East of the roadblock flag while listening to Fehmart curse Bommando (enemy commander) and the enemy armour.

Well we were ordered not to push forward to the Roadblock. There were a lot of times where the Roadblock looked so tasty we could just swallow the whole thing. Bommando's strategy could ve worked and it did since we caught with about 30 ticket difference twice.
There were several SL s pressured from the SM s to push forward and cost us more tickets... Good game anyways. ![]() |

Ya, I quickly skipped through the video. We led by about 20 points most of the game, then increased to 30. Near the end at the last 100 tickets you guys turned it around and PAC was beating us by 20 tickets and we just managed to turn it around again for the win.
You actually regained ground when Outpost fell and we had to send guys to get that back.

If people had followed my simple orders, we would have had that round in the bag. It was only when people went Rambo and charged to the Roadblock that we lost our lead.
Taking the Outpost actually cost us a bunch of tickets, since our APC was off the front line where it should have been mortaring the crap out of the EU squishies at Roadblock. Then, the captured enemy walker and APC were used to cap flags at a stage of the round where only tickets mattered. Overall a very frustrating round ruined by people with no clue who misused the assets at the very end. Good work to the SLs who did listen. You almost pulled it off despite the noobs. |

That was a hard round. Spent all of it attacking the APC and trying to take down the invincible walker, and clearing the east Roadblock building. This was one round where I was actually thankful for the MaxClip upgrade, because I was running through SMG magazines very quickly. Never thought I'd get Engineer Service Gold on Fall of Berlin.
...And another round where I felt high explosive rain. It hurts. |

Well, there was only my squad, 'Khram' which is actually hold that line and do the dirty medic work that last the team long enough. Boys, we had a massive kill count toward the end of the game. You mates make me feel so proud to lead such a bunch. 200 points for the squad is thing to desire for.
We could have very much won the game if not for some guy who took the APC for a joyride to roadblock and got blew up by bowling balls. That APC had it been kept just outside the chokepoint could have turned the tide for the PAC team. Overall, it was an extremely good fight in my opinion regardless winning or loosing. The teamwork in my squad made it worth. |

Ya, it sucks away some of our glory for not losing Roadblock when you guys never actually wanted it in the first place.
Still though the strategy would possibly have worked if people held position, the PAC team had a much more talented team than ours and with a regular push would have wiped the map with us. We did win because not everyone was sticking to the script on the PAC side, but I still think a regular old fashioned push would have wiped the board with us, just like the blowout from the previous round. Crossroads was taken in literally about a minute after the game started. I have to remember to check my map more often if I want to use the video as an AAR. Otherwise all we get is my local perspective.

Heh. Sad to say it, but once I saw Bommando go commander and I sat staring at my screen for 30 seconds debating whether or not I should start up a squad. I feared my inadequacy as an SL, and, probably worse, being at the receiving end of Bommando's angry rant.
