Hi,

I am new to the forums so I don't know if this is the right section to post this in, excuse me if it is not.

I was just playing a round on your 2142 server. The map was Shuhia Taiba Conquest. I was in my beloved gunship and doing quite well. I was denying the enemy the use of the gunship when I suddenly got booted for UCB camping. Now, I admit I have never understood this whining about UCB camping. That's why DICE put AA and ground cannons everywhere inside them. They are very easy to defend against campers. However, I can accept some limitations to UCB camping, like spawncamping. However I have never and will never spawncamp. I swept in, destroyed the gunship(s) and got out. Sometimes someone was in them, sometimes they were empty.

I was doing this because it was the tactical thing to do. Deny your enemy the use of a powerful weapon. I did not hang around, or camp, in the UCB. My complaint is that to kick someone for doing this does not seem very adult, it is childish and dare I say noobish. This is hardly encouraging tactical play. I love TG for encouraging squad play and use of tactics, that is why I am so annoyed at this. I don't expect this to change any rules. There are too many whiners who love the hands off approach to UCBs. To simply sit back and let your enemy get out of the base with a weapon that can kill you does not seem very tactical or very adult IMHO. Thanks for listening I feel better now. Cheers.

Its been said before (hundreds?) of times.... If the TG style doesnt agree with you, there are lots of other places to play. Dont let the door hit ya!

UCB camping is against the rules at TG. I am sorry you disagree with it, but it is one of the rules on our server. If you can't live with that, I have heard rumors that there are other servers out there. Thanks again for giving TG a try.

There are many things which can be done which can be seen as tactical, but not all fit the requirements of the TG primer.
