Fallen and Carpathian Mountain 1/7 Ukraine

After overwhelming the Ukraine as German on Orel by almost 400 points, some in my squad switched over for the next round of Fallen.

Sordavie hopped in the CO chair to try and direct traffic. Our squad went to the North Cabin where we had some tough back and forth fights with Sgt York's squad. What made this tougher was that York, who knows my style, knew where to find me on offense and defense. After finally solidifying our hold on the North Cabin (and taunting the enemy into taking it) we (immediately) received orders to take the Lumbermill flag. The rest of the round we fought tooth and nail at either the Lumbermill flag or the south cabin. Sgt. York's squad, TOC and the 33rd made life difficult for us as we were getting hit from many directions at the flag. Props to Lord Zarfax, Notoneofus, Santa, Lysanter, and ThePenguineer for making a good run of it.

Carpathian presented my squad, great challenges. Our team didn't seem to get much traction against the enemy generally only holding 1-2 flags, never 3. Many times we held the only flag which led multiple squads to hit our flag at the same time. We would hold out for awhile before losing it to multiple armor. At that point, we would retreat, select a different flag, take it and try to head back to our original flag.

It was tough with TOC sniping at us from behind while the 33rd assaulted our flag. I think TOC Gman has had it in for me since this post http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...-question.html as I was the only guy he seemed to snipe in my squad. I think he went something ridiculous against me like 9-1. Gosh, I just never thought that a screenshot like that would get him so focused against my squad. So, I've learned my lesson, no more screenshots of TOC Gman getting knifed...

Good round tonight Sordavie, Craze, Santa, Penguineer, Zarfax, Notoneofus, Calvin, and Lysanter!

I kept telling my squad... "I shot lucky again" and I also told them I would be getting a PM from lucky tonight I was also worried that Santa would step on one to many of my claymores. I think I got him with 4 in Fallen.

I am not sure what happened on the German side tonight. They seemed tough enough in all the places I ended up. We did have a pretty good squad matrix tonight. We did not have a commander for most of the evening.

I prefer nights when the teams are even and we have to struggle to the end, BUT, I take a night of domination if I can have the time to sit and snipe at Luckyshot's squad :P

I got revived on most of those claymores. In carpathian i even acted as a minesweeper since i knew a medic was around.

I sure do remember a lot of TOC guys in my ironsights last night though

The only round where my performance was worth mentioning was on Fallen. Too much 2142 recently has made me realize how much faster I used to die in PoE. No matter though! I'm gonna try to squeeze in some more PoE from now on, so I shall reclaim my (Not-So) Greatness!

And it was wonderful to not get teabagged by Santa for once!
