TG on Facebook

I know a lot of us like to connect outside the forums as well, so I thought it would be cool if we had a Facebook group for TG. We have a lot of college students and a lot of professionals in TG and I came to realize that I dont know what 99.9% of the people I talk to around here look like or anything else about them. Facebook is the devil, i know, but its a good networking tool and could possibly help us attract more people!

I started it in the global network, so anyone from TG can join. Feel free to sign up!

Oh, and to the higher ups, I dont think doing this violates any kind of policy we have, but should I be mistaken, please let me know and i'll close the group.

Couldnt find a way to post a link, but if you're a facebook member, just search groups for "tactical gamer".

I hate to think what will happen when folks realize that I'm not really a 38 year old male but am actually hot 16 year old jailbait. Cruel irony!

They popped up around the same time, Facebook is like the 2nd or 3rd most popular site after MySpace, but don't quote me on that - I don't really pay much attention to those things.

Facebook was originally only for college students (you had to have a valid college email address to sign up), then it was for college students and business networks, now its open to everyone, but they never really publicized opening it to the general public, so its still 99% college students.

It's a less annoying, and I believe less child-stalking site than MySpace. And no crappy music starts playing when you look at people's pages on facebook, heh.

All the student workers here have been trying to get me on Facebook for a little while now, but I've been holding out quite steadfastedly.

Aww, I hate registering for things. I can't ever keep up with all the different names and passwords. But maybe, just maybe, since this seems like a worthy effort.
