Total disaster

Getting really tired of the absolute massacres on the conquest server. Tonight it was totally lopsided. I have no idea if this is even fixable. If one team gets even just a few more newbs they pretty much just get raped. I saw repeatedly in berlin counts of snipers as high as 6 or 7. most of which were by our base and the snipers never even made the kill boards. As in we had 24 people and the snipers were like numbers 19 and lower. maybe its cause I have a really bad headache but I would really appreciate a few instances where its only TG allowed. 6 vs 6 or 12 vs 12 or whatever. Just tired of always losing. My side lost like 8 out of 9 games tonight and most by 100 points. TOnight TG felt like a pub server.

One question...

Did you log on teamspeak and ask an admin to move some TGers around? If not then you can only blame yourself. Part of the reason I have made it a point to log on TS whenever I play. Between the bunny hoppers, and the lopsided teams, it is best to be on the TS server.

I ran across quite a few bunny hoppers last night. I kicked myself in the butt for not logging on TeamSpeak...

I have not seen any "Learn TG" squads lately. Maybe if we start doing that again people will learn how to play and it wont be so frustrating. It has been so one sided lately that I have been switching to public titan servers just so I can destroy people and get rid of the frustration

Is it possable to wait until the end of rounds before moving people from team to team? I don't know how many times I have been in a squad and we are working well together attacking a flag just to get switched to the other team were all the squads are full and I end up finishing the round as a squad leader in a squad by myself.

No, because you aren't being moved by an administrator. Being switched like that middle of round is usually caused by the game's autobalance. Obviously this is turned on on the TG server. Administrators do have the ability to randomize teams, but if this is done it forces a new round. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe autobalance could be made "smarter" by taking into account each teams aggregate career score and attempting to get them as even as possible. Perhaps Panzerhans could script that?

Yea, there was a full clan squad doing it. [DIN] Tags. 4 of them. sadly it was early morning and no admins on. Was fun slaying them though. They would bunny hop, I would kill. I think 80% of my kills came from their squad. Still frustrating though.

Now that I play on the TG server almost exclusively, I am no longer used to the bunny hopping tactics, or lack thereof. Though I do manage to kill a majority of hoppers that I run across (I'm guilty of tunnel vision when i see them, must kill bunny hoppers), it still irritates me to no end when on hops by and knifes me. *sigh*

I would love to do the TS thing but sadly, that currently means I can use my mic for TS or the game as I still have an unresolved conflict somewhere. Thus to use TS I have to log out of the game entirely, log into TS make request, log out of TS, log back into the game.

Speak to your squadmates are any of them on TS to report on your behalf

Type up in game "ADMIN ADMIN MrGreen is bunnyhopping"
Admin in capitals to help get admin attention, name & offense so we have the info to act upon. Ingame text chat disappears quickly ingame but on our admin tool we can see several mins of text chat.

Join my squad. I was reporting for my whole squad. They would see a vehicle stolen from UCB, I would report, they see X, I report it.

Was working well. Make sure you get his name though, that is the hard part.

its funny because i remember, and that round we won was when i was comander. through all of those rounds we didnt have a comander and where getting hit with orbital strikes, thats something yall need to take notice, having a comander is a big advantage, we were losing like 119-6 tickets and when i came in comander we won 19-0. i felt proud because it gave me the ilusion that i led my team into victory, if any of you feel diferent, write back. also a lil thing i do when im frustrated and cant get any good kills, i get out of the game and onto my desktop, i open my browser i search leakspin.com that song there calms me down and helps me concentrate more, a definate tip for those guyss that cuss alot when there frustrated *cough cough* pvt buddha *cough cough*

Admins will randomise the teams if they are lopsided. Sometimes they need reminding.

Until we perfect time travel, posting about it in the forums is not going to solve anything. Report it or swallow it.
