Special Forces Fun 1/12
What a blast it was tonight as the likes of Mosely, MoreGooder, E0, Gahlas, Corridon, Troublesome, WhiteTiger, PJ and Root played some of the toughest rounds in Special Forces tonight. Gahlas and Mosely were unstoppable around the Trainyard on Mass Destruction. Moregooder and E0 had solid positions on Night Flight but with Flashbangs (Troublesome) and gas (PJ) Whitetiger, Root and myself were able to snag that Cargo Plane flag. Corridon had the audacity to shoot me while I was taking a screenshot (Cmon Corridon, can't you see I just knifed Mosely, geesh...).
Warlord featured the typical brutal close quarter combat as both sides leveraged smoke, flashbangs and rooftops to snag the flag behind the defenders.!Outstanding fun, great fights and well played throughout! Lucky Shot |

Re: Special Forces Fun 1/12
Yeah, I joined at the tail end of Night Flight and had to leave for work at the conclusion of Warlord.
Night Flight was me trying to get my bearings and remind myself that it takes a dozen bullets to kill someone rather than the expected 1-3. I can't count the number of times I emptied half a magazine into someone then shift to engage a different target only to find the first person turn around and cut me down. Sheesh! The lesson was learned by Warlord. I had completely forgotten how fun teargas is! Teargas + frags empties a room in a hurry. We ought to play SF more often. I swear I've probably put in less than four hours for that expansion pack. Someone was driving around a forklift on Night Flight. A forklift, for chrissakes! I was immobilized from laughter whenever they'd drive by and honk the horn... |

Re: Special Forces Fun 1/12
That was a lot more fun than I remember special forces being. Good games. Too bad my computer can only reasonably handle then day time maps and night is out of the question. Looking forward to the next time we play.

Re: Special Forces Fun 1/12
Definitely a lot of fun - and my apologies for having 'too much' fun running you guys over sometimes.. I feel bad for not receiving the same treatment. I guess my payback came in the form of forgetting about the whole 'can't go prone on the upper-deck of the cargo plane' clipping issue. You guys on the other team really shot our ankles up until we remembered that one..
My last round of the night, on the palace map, was way fun. I completely forgot how great that map was - perfect combination of outside/inside fighting. Gas bombs really are fun. |
