Worth reinstalling BF2?

Well, I have had BF2 for quite some time, but before I recently upgrade my computer it was a bit hard and choppy to run.

I have played BattleField Vietnam with the first Point of Existence. I was wondering since now I can run Battlefield 2142 quite well at good settings and Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion at high settings with my upgrade if it would be worth it to reinstall BF2 to play it and this mod or if I just should stick with Battlefield 2142 and not even bother.

I think you'll enjoy PoE2 here at TG. PoE has also released a new map pack so there should be quite a bit of activity. The TG PoE server constantly sees action.

Re: Worth reinstalling BF2?

Forget PoE2. Project Reality Mod is where it's at! So reinstall and decide for yourself which is better!

Re: Worth reinstalling BF2?

yeah I got to the point with PoE that I uninstalled it due to the dislike of the Maps but I have recently re-installed thanks to the release of the new maps, Which are SWEET IMO!!!!

POE2 is great. It's definitely worth it. Load it up and give it a try.

IMO, it beats 2142 and reg BF2 by a huge margin.

Re: Worth reinstalling BF2?

Download PoE2, PR, and the tactical mod. Each offer a different style of play and maps to keep the game fresh.

Re: Worth reinstalling BF2?

Yeah, it's worth loading back up! The new POE maps are great and free! I'm working POE back into my playtime rotation.

Re: Worth reinstalling BF2?

Would it be a problem if I don't have any of the expansions for BF2?

You won't need the booster packs to play here, however you will need PoE2 and Project Reality.

I think you should be fine.

Get the latest patch

Down load PR and you are good to go.

However, as Levar Burton once said, "You do not have to take my word for it."
