Anyone with a Cougar HOTAS and TIR
This small Cougar profile puts Pause TIR on the “IFF Out” of the Throttle, and Centre TIR on the “IFF IN”. The Pause uses F14, and the Centre uses F15. Therefore freeing up all your Function Keys for the game. You can use this profile as a building block to start any othe game profile, Pause/Centre TIR will always use F14/F15 which are not used by any game.
Open up Foxy. Select File > New Joystick File > Then paste my .tmj file in. Select File > New Macro File > Then paste my .tmm file in When that’s done > Save as, and give them a name. After this one time, you can save them both together if you make any adjustments. Download the profile to your Cougar, and test it works by running the Key Test. Once you have downloaded the profile to the Cougar. Open TrackIR: Select > Profiles Tab > Edit Select > Hotkeys > Change For Pause – Press the Throttle IFF OUT button – the value changes to 125 (F14) For Centre – Press the Throttle IFF IN button – the value changes to 126 (F15) For Precision – Leave all unticked. Re: Anyone with a Cougar HOTAS and TIR
Excellent stuff, once I get a new pot for my throttle I'll check this out.
Don't suppose you know if Arma will support my Nostromo at the same time as me COUGAR and (ahem) microsoft steering wheel pedals for rudder (like IL2 did?) Rgds LoK

I run CH USB Pedals, the Cougar, Nostromo and a Touchscreen running Touchbuddy (in Client/Server mode) without any problems. |

Buccaneer, I looked up the touch buddy stuff and it looks really interesting. did you build it yourself? If so what hardware did you use? Maybe this should be it's own thread..

Re: Anyone with a Cougar HOTAS and TIR
Bucccaneer:
How do you have your CH Pedals and Cougar Configured for ArmA? Do I need your MDEF Buccaneer ArmA.tmm File for TIR to set up Cougar. I just started with TouchBuddy but wanted to setup the joysticks, rudder pedals first. I have the CH Propedals if that makes any difference. I keep reading that Arma only sees one joytick (no support for multiple joysticks) so how are you able to have it recognize the rudder pedals. Any and all help appreciated. |
