UCB Violation Warning

IMHO, we need to warn players about UCB violations on the loading screen.

A good number of people get kicked for UCB violations, and I was wondering whether it was their ignorance of our rules rather than their disrespect that was getting them kicked.

I've never been kicked, so I do not know if the admin warns before kicking. I also do not know whether a text message is issued as I fail to notice those in the heat of battle.

The loading screen tells about
the auto-kick when full to make room for members
the join squad in 90 sec
the follow SL and CO orders
the lack of tolerance for bunny hopping
the maturity and teamwork requirements

I realize that space is at a premium on the loading screen, and I also realize that the current message has been carefully thought out by our admins. That being said, I would like to recommend that we warn players about our UCB rules. It is tricky to get the complex rules into a one liner, but with combined TB verbal power (amongst which there is at least one writer and one prof), I'm sure we can come up with a nifty phrase.

I think the part about joining a squad in 90 seconds could be left off. This one is pretty easy to catch after getting booted for it. In its place add a short blurb about UCB attacking.

Do not enter UCB except for taking down assets.

Or some such statement.

Yeah, I think that's a good idea. People that just find the server through the search function wouldn't know, other than if their squad told them.

On that note, if you wear a TG tag, and a member of your team/squad violates the rules, PLEASE TELL THEM!

good points all around. The 90 second thing might be left off because you're told in the ingame chat (that no one pays attention to) when you've got X amountof time before kick.

Besides, if you're really into teamwork, you presumably want to join a squad each time.

Dunno I don't nessary join a squad in a pub, just because I assume there is no teamwork. I think it is good to have a saying on the front for that.

*shrug* overkill in my opinion. Because it will boot you. You can attack a UCB and not ever get booted if no one reports you.

p.s I have been kicked for being out of a squad (bug) but when you get kicked for not being in a squad the message you get is very clear, that is why I say it is overkill.

Actually there is a warning that comes around (every 5-10 minutes I think) that says UCB camping is not allowed. Look for the ****

i bought bf2142 this past weekend and i've been kicked for this
didn't know what it was at first but i looked it up and shouldn't be making that mistake again. I've snuck over from NS so i'm still trying to figure out what is going on and just following around squad members.
i use the name Rabid_Squirl in this game so if yall see me doing something i shouldn't be just yell at me and i'll straigten up. i have read the rules but i stilll don't know exactly what everything is yet. plus i'm still learning the maps.

Yea, just follow a TG lead squad around and you wont violate any rules. Welcome aboard!
