Cool New Medic TG member looking for a unit

Hey All,
DrakinClaw here, Well to sum up my fighting style, I am a solid medic that uses the Baur heavy assualt as my weapon of choice. I am a active player and can usually be found on the TG server just about every night.

I am looking to group up with a recruiting squad who is interested in my skill set that i can bring into the fight!
Still new to the forums so im reading up, on how you join into all the buddy listings and everything. Any tips on were to join will be handy
See ya around.

you need to be a supporting member to join an in-house squad.

Deadonaim is an irregular and a good squad leader, I'm sure he would appreciate a medic at his side.

You could also start your own squad. Grab some guys that you think are great and see if you can get together regularly.

Re: New Medic TG member looking for a unit

It's not like we create in-house squads like we throw out candy around here, but you may want to consider holding off on joining up an existing squad (and maybe chill with Saijer and the 2142 Irregulars for a bit) and wait for more 2142 Supporting Members to join up. Then, maybe you could consider starting up a new in-house squad, as Sarc suggested.

Afterall, the in-house scrims wouldn't be as fun with in-house squad trash talk. And, frankly, I think the 7th has lost some respect recently with the "Interpretive Dance" press release and the "Santa, Mantis, and Fallen in an OutHouse" Debacle.

Keep in mind you also have to be an SM to start your own squad. I recommend joining the irregs for now.

I'd just like to say that we take no responsibility for what Santa does in his own time.

It doesn't have to be an in-house squad. =BD= played here and weren't an in-house squad. It's sort of like another squad of irregulars except a more concrete group with defined leadership.

Re: New Medic TG member looking for a unit

All of the existing divisions except the Irregulars require that you be a Supporting Member. The Irregulars are the only TG division with permission to allow non-SMs.

Different divisions have different recruitment policies. You can read more about them on the Wiki Page.

If you don't intend to become a Supporting Member, then the Irregulars are a good start. Bear in mind that becoming a SM doesn't immediately qualify you to join a division, but you get a heap of other benefits, not the least of which is a reserved slot on our servers and priority placement for scrims.

I recommend you roll with the Irregulars for a bit and join up with TG players as much as possible to get to know them before committing yourself to an in-house team.

Re: New Medic TG member looking for a unit

DrakinClaw, I want you to come to the Irregulars. It sounds like you have a desire to be part of a team and utilize tactics to overcome obstacles. Please apply. We can definately use you and your skills will be appreciated. And if you want to move on from there and become a SM, thus allowing you to join an in-house squad, that's cool. Just hope you are on the same side as me, otherwise I am going to target you like the deserter you will be. Just kidding. I can't hit water if I fell out of a boat.

Peace

Re: New Medic TG member looking for a unit

If you can afford the SM membership, then I'd suggest it (if you play with TG'ers or on our server a lot). Memberships go for $8.95 per month or $80 per year (non-refundable).

Otherwise, join up with the Irregulars to get your feet wet. They are a good squad with some great players.
