Joystick Recommendation
Hey guys,
I need something to fly in Armed Assault with. I did a forum search but didn't find the information I was looking for. I'm not interested in throttle control or force feedback, and I'm not keen on spending a ton of money on this. What I want: -A heavy weighted base that won't slide around when I'm flying. -STIFF RESISTANCE and HIGH sensitivity: just how I roll. -I'll still have one hand on the keyboard for throttle control and rudder. Will the Cyborg EVO suit me ok? Other recommendations?

Re: Joystick Recommendation
I've always been fond of wireless joysticks. Just something to keep in mind if you're into that sorta thing.

Re: Joystick Recommendation
Yeah, I'd highly recommend the Cyborg EVO USB... The base nice and stable, the stick itself is customizable (hight of palm rest and angle of thumb-buttons/trigger), and perhaps best of all is the software that comes with it. The SW lets you remap buttons (to key strokes or mouse movements) and lets you create macros as well.

Re: Joystick Recommendation
Yeah I'm a Saitek fan as well. I know that you don't want a throttle but they are releasing a new joystick throttle combo this month.

Re: Joystick Recommendation
Hrm...am I the only fan of the Logitech Extreme 3D pro? I've always liked the feel of this js. I often play with it one-handed, so having the base move around isn't a problem. And it's pretty cheap.

Re: Joystick Recommendation
Saitek x52 Flight System is rather nice. I love it! Good control, more buttons than you can shake a shtick at (even Jose Jalepeno on a Shtick) and enough customization as far as grip size and length and tension and other goodies to make anyone happy.
