Re: 2142 scrim sign up

Didnt want to mess up your pretty sticky, but this is worth noting, as it is different then the Conquest server set up.

Friendly Fire for Mines / APM ON.

Be advised of the above!!!

Why was the topic not locked for a while after posting? Had I not been pointed to it I would have completely missed it.

Re: 2142 scrim sign up

Hey guys can we set up the battle recorder on this one? Or at least have a few people record and post later (Although i've never actually used the battle recorder thing, I imagine it would be better quality than individuals recording on their own).

Either way, regardless of wether or not I am allowed to play or I am stuck in the non-SM reserves, i'd like to be able to watch what happened.

They are working on the settings now. I think they are testing them on PRM first then try them out on the others.

Re: 2142 scrim sign up

In the sign up topic is says we are playing 3 rounds, one of which is a tie breaker, but only 2 are listed:
  1. Cerbere Landing
  2. Belgrade (Tie breaker)
Does that mean if we each wine one round, we play Belgrade again?

2 rounds Cerebere, swapping sides. If we tie, we will play Belgrade. If one team dominates both, we will still probably play Belgrade, just to give the other side a chance to redeem themselves.

Re: 2142 scrim sign up

Oh that is good, Cerbere is a pretty unfair map (attacking team has no flags and it going up hill...).

Re: 2142 scrim sign up

Greetings.

Just wanted to know if you have thought about having the video taped (like in the BF2C scrims)

Would be fun to watch. The game looks like fun.

Re: 2142 scrim sign up

Another question. Can we assume that once the teams are decided, the tactic discussions will take place in private forums on TacticalConflict, or something else? Also with no ATC for 2142 yet, will the CO's have to draw their own plan up and then mail to their SL's?

Just curious.

We are currently engaging the respective in house squad OFFICERS to "pick teams" this Saturday. After that is accomplished we will probably open up the threads on Tacticalconflicts like every other scrimage. As far as ATC goes, we are experimenting (literally LOL) with using ATC and custom maps. We will not have the cute icons, but we really don't need them to get the point across, and we have the benefit of the maps already created...we just need to tweek them to see if they fit. Generally once the teams are drawn up it falls on that team to handle the CO and SL duties internally with CO and SLs responsible for ATC sessions.
