pr 25/1
I was happy to be able to join the prrm server thanks to John's advertisements on the Poet server. There were mostly pubbies in the game, but they made for a pretty good experience.
There was pretty good coordination on our team because we had SL John communicating with Grunt over TS. This allowed for some nice 2 squad attacks, the opfor also succeeded in these tactics which made it all the better. The highlight for me was the map with all the little birds though. It was a blast to defend, with loads of choppers hunting and dropping off squads, AA fire everywhere. This is a really nice map, but when the us loses all flags it's lame, luckily that didn't happen. On this map we had Alpha to the west on the main street. Calvin took me and I believe Forsythe to some great positions as we supported the mosque flag. ![]() They just kept pushing up that street. ![]() Forsythe (alpha member) is just in front here. He kept popping around that corner and killing loads of enemy's that were moving up to/from mosque a little down the road. Meanwhile the choppers (about 4 I think) kept entertaining us like this. All that needs is some Wagner and a CO that orders you to go surfing. ![]() ![]() ![]() Man I hope they get this 0.5 update out soon, so hopefully more (tg)players will want to join up on this game. I'm definitely looking forward to more such games.

Whether 0.5 or not is out, we're playing on Fri 9 Mar, unless everyone wants me to change next weeks SF session to PR. I'm easy. ![]()

Re: pr 25/1
I was in John_C's squad with Al, I was attached to Bravo as Bravo-2. Quite fun, my job was to man the AA kit and hopefully take some chunks out of the incoming choppers. Man, is that AA launcher hard to shoot. Not being guided makes accuracy a big deal, an issue when the reticle is 5 feet wide and the choppers are moving hundreds of meters in seconds. Anyways I managed to get one hit on a chopper when the pilot flared and prepared to land on my rooftop. I stepped out and put a round straight into the windshield. He didn't go down and neither did his passengers riding outside.
Is this thing underpowered? Maybe I was using it incorrectly, I am new to this mod after all. However, awesome games throughout the night, had a blast. Thanks to everyone in my squad. |

Re: pr 25/1
Foxoq,
The shoulder mounted AA does not lock onto little birds nor their counterparts.
