Daqing/Berezne 1/26/2006
Remember kids, don't drink and fly. It's not a sleigh Santa. Be careful. Oh yeah, thanks for running Tau and me over.
![]() Practice makes perfect I guess. ![]() Can anyone guess why we only have 1 control point captured? ![]()

Re: Daqing/Berezne 1/26/2006
Good times. Im not sure how i landed on my nose, or why i didnt take any damage (besides the initial impact). When i said "HELP?!", i didnt mean knife my cockpit. You ended up shattering the glass, it got in my eyes, and i floored it (or whatever pilots do), thus teamkilling both you and tau.

For Daqing the 12th held Old City the entire round along with Corporate and SgtStedanko, they both did a great job along with Tau, Mantis, Jmaker and the squad handicap me!
![]() Then on Berezne we held the Radar Station for most of the round it flipped a couple times but we recaptured it within minutes of loosing it. It was a fun night overall

Last night definitely had the feel of an old school TG BF2 night, at least on the UKR side - defenses actually set up and stayed on their flags, there were great conflicts off and on flags, etc. I gotta say my favorite moment was on Fallen, catching 3 guys and then 4 guys on Crash Site with the C4.

Hey, don't rag on their 1337 sniping skills. You guys probably lost the game for them.

Re: Daqing/Berezne 1/26/2006
I was taking the transport chopper up to try and use the rockets against ground targets, but that chopper isn't really setup for the type of flying that requires. I think most of my deaths were a result of me hitting the trees on the way out of the refinery, after having been shot up pretty bad doing the strafing run.
You know, it just occurred to me that as you take damage in your chopper in PoE, you lose main rotor power, right? That would explain a lot! lol Liminal and JeonJiHyeon were faring much better in the attack chopper, but it was always pretty harry over there at the Refinery. |

LOL we got a few laughs watching that big helo try to maneuver. The best one was the crash into the water pipes heading out the west side of the CP.
![]() That being said, you're orders of magnitude better at flying than I am. Which admittedly isn't saying much. ![]()
