Playing *only* VOIP over headset?
HI, since VOIP is built into 2142, and you're not using TeamSpeak, is there ANY way to pipe the music, and sfx to my speakers, but the voice comms to my Bluetooth earpiece?
That would rule, imho. |

Would be nice, but is sadly impossible.

Sounds like we need to start a petition
![]() Regarding the 2nd sound card idea, I remember now that we used to do that here at TG, 4 years ago, when everyone played Ghost Recon. SoundBlaster for game sounds, and mobo sound chip for TeamSpeak. |

You can use your Bluetooth headset's mic by setting the Windows recording device to it. I don't use it myself because Bluetooth has limited mic volume control and 2142 doesn't boost the mic enough.

Re: Playing *only* VOIP over headset?
Ah that's easy .. set the FX volume to 30% and you dont hear "AUGH OH MY GOD, IM STABBED IN THE FACE" every 2 seconds. All you hear are footsteps, your breathing, and actual events around you.
Turning down the volume does not only "turn down the volume" heheh .. it disables the annoying "flavor" effects that sound off even when NOTHING is going on around you. |
