Tilt Wheel

Has anyone tried or been successful with mapping the left tilt or right tilt on their mouse (assuming it is indeed a tilt wheel mouse)?

Re: Tilt Wheel

I tried with mine but could not get it to work. I never installed the logitech software so I figured that is why.

Re: Tilt Wheel

I have my left and right tilt set for my main rifle and grenades. I used the logitech software to bind the wheel to the in game keys.

I just read something along the same lines in another forum.

Put another way, in the 3rd party software:

bind left tilt to a key, let's say "o"
bind right tilt to another key, let's say "p"

then in BF2142, bind Reload to "o" and VOIP to "p"

Thanks for the help!

Re: Tilt Wheel

Go figure, Microsoft doesn't allow you to customize the left/right tilt... ah well, more reason to get that Logitech I've been eyeing up.

Re: Tilt Wheel

Yeah, I like my Logitech (an LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse), though sometimes the mouse spazzes on me and I can't get the mouse to respond properly (like the computer is lagged up on something else so it can't process but a few mouse inputs every ten seconds or more) for about 3 minutes or so, and then full control returns. Happens both with and without the Logitech setpoint software installed. Oh well. other than that, its an excellent mouse.
