I just installed POE today and finally got a chance to try it out. I have to say I am very impressed by the gameplay and the teamwork on the server. Got in a squad with a few TG-12th guys (Mantis, Xeil, Boudreux), and they did all the right things I would have expected as a squad lead in 2142. Speaking of which, thats where I came from. I've been playing on the 2142 server for almost a month now - finally added my TG tags, so if you ever switch back and forth you'll probably recognize me.
Thanks for the new experience. 2142 is really such a huge meatgrinder, the change in tactics was really nice. I'd certainly like to get playing on there more and get to know you guys. (Now if only I had the time to play all the 2142 and POE I wanted...

)

Welcome to POE2! You are correct that it is a really fun game. You should also give Project reality a shot as well. It is much slower than POE2. It's also getting a major update in a couple of weeks.

Welcome to POE2 Vendi! I get to play some nights POE every week and I enjoy the setting/weapons/maps and gameplay.
I remember clashing with Boudreux on Mashtuur Hill yesterday. Maybe you were just around the corner?

Pleasure playing with you Vendi. When you first joined in, I was in a squad with a lot of non-TG guys, and I was impressed at your patience with them. When we both switched to a different squad, you seemed to have transitioned very well from BF2142, with great support roles and some key kills. Look forward to playing with you more.
