Jan 31 Berlin - The battle of the square
With people who didn't know better than to join my squad:
Some obfuscated one posing as Master_editor, and then Rilyer, Mohag, mitchlguzin, and roksoldier. We started out at the PAC base and moved north of crossroads, after a minute or two of tossing grenades down on the Euro trash below, we were able to push up and rapidly move west in a tight group, bypassing cross roads. The obfuscated one as always did an excellent job of reviving and keeping us alive and moving. We encountered some resistance north of road block but were able to kill enough to make it through to square which was undefended. We quickly turned the flag and set up our defense. The counter attack was almost immediate. As the little red dots came pouring in, I called for an orbital strike and the CO, Mugzy, responded immediately and with good effect. And so the round went, it stayed very hot with lots of prodding of our defenses, and whenever a serious attack came, the CO was on the ball to help us out. I was really impressed with how responsive the squad as a whole was, someone would call out infantry to the south and I'd see 5 green dots move to respond. We briefly lost the flag a few times, but we never lost control or possession of the area. Just an outstanding performance and a good show of teamwork from the squad. It was a good round to be SL. |

I got home from school at around 9 cnt and the server was packed full. I tried to get on for 30 minutes on my name, but to no avail. Finally, ticked off but itching for some BattleField, I tapped into my brother's SM privileges (we play on the same computer, so that should OK, right?) just to be able to pry my spot from the grubby hands of a server visitor. But, Obfuscator does share 50% of my DNA (she's ma' Sis), so no wonder people get us mixed up ![]()
