Upcoming 1.2 patch
I don't think anyone has posted this yet. Here is what the patch is expected to do. Sounds like it might be possible to get the repair and medic badge golds without having to resort to special point scoring tactics (i.e. siting on the titan and repairing the guns). I like that. They are beta testing this now. Does anyone know when it is suppose to be released?
What does 1.2 change? I've included a list of changes below: Added correct flag for Czech Republic. Fixed PDS-1 sonar system interference with UAV. Soldiers are now shown correctly on UAV when PDS-1 is activated. Heal and repair points awarded after a 50% heal/repair instead of 100% heal/repair. Fixed tracking of hours with the medic hub in BFHQ. They should now be shown correctly. Fixed Squad leader drone exploit. Removed the possibility to use drones as a stairway to heaven. Fixed Rorsch crosshair misalignment. The crosshair should now be correct while unzoomed. Out of bounds now immediately kills after 15 seconds instead of doing gradual damage over 15 seconds. This prevents exploits using the out of bounds area. APM:s always set to Friendly fire off on ranked servers. Increases consistency and prevents misunderstanding. Fixed an exploit using the reactor core door. The correct message is now shown when trying to join a full server. Fixed crash when placing Squad Leader Spawn Beacon. Added server side option to prevent Titan Movement. Added optimization to Titan mode to reduce lag. |

those are welcome changes. the drone exploit and squad beacon crash especially.
the insta death after 15 seconds is kinda harsh though. but i guess i need to work on my ethics a touch... |

The insta death was made because people kept pushing their healing points while taking damage out of Area. But they increased the time you take damage from 10 to 15 seconds to compensate the "normal" out of bounds activities

I thought it was just useful for getting on buildings or something, but I had an SL on a pubbie use it to zip over to the EU base from the PAC base in Gibraltar. Glad they're fixing that.

You guys shouldn't be exploiting in the first place.
And I like the SLSB fix. I especially like the insta-death on out of bounds, although I wish it was instant or near instant. That way I can get back and redeploy the SB to a better location where squadmates won't end up in the no-no zone. Plus it sends a clear message about SB placement.

It is not on that list but I also read they are going to start tracking the assault rocket kills. If they do that do you think that will count toward the explosive badges? I have not even got my bronze in that yet.
