Fraps Experiment

I've been throwing around the idea of making some movies of POE maps with fraps. I don't want a first person movie so I've been looking for servers with BR running but, cannot find any that are regularly populated. So I was wondering if it would be okay for me to log onto the TG and create a locked squad named cameraman or something to that effect and record footage from different parts of the battle in free cam?Don't want to do anything like this without permission because I know it is frowned upon to have a 1 man squad. Any response would be appreciated

Thanks.

You missed out.. He was running around taping the rounds the other night
I know free cam was still on last night.. You might want to check it out now, You might get lucky.. No really you might catch Lucky getting knifed by Santa

Free cam is still on, was just wondering if it'd be okay for me to go around in freecam in a one man squad.

That should be fine Kovert. Just make sure its not a constant round after round occurance and you name the squad appropriately so its obvious to the admins that your doing that. Also make sure you rejoin a regular squad after your filming is done. If your back to playing racking up kills in armor/etc then the admin will assume your lonewolfing instead of filming.

I watched that video, missed the part about me getting knifed. Here is the video that's listed in that thread. http://www.strangelove.com/Strangemovies/index.html
