Well, I'd just like to say thanks for the great game last weekend. I had just started to play BF2142 two days before (I had been browsing this forum as well as others prior) and I had been looking forward to some really nice squadplay (as outlined in Orca's vids) and you guys sure gave it to me. I mean, it was great how one of the TG guys gave orders, as well as voice orders to ensure clarity. He knew what he was doing and we got those flags pretty fast (+ I ranked up pretty well also). Anyway, it was one of the best games since I started to play. So again, thanks, and I hope to have some more games with you guys and learn your secrets.

On a sidenote, I was just having a little issue with joining squad joining - Don't really want to waste another post on it. Basically, I can join a squad perfectly when I join any server. But if I decide to leave it and join another, the problem begins. I'll click 'leave' and it appears like I'm no longer in the squad, but then it won't allow me to join any other squad, or even rejoin the one I left. So I'm pretty much stuck in limbo as an unassigned player after that as I can't join another squad. The only possible way I can solve this is to reconenct, which also sometimes does not help. Any solutions? You can move this to support if you'd like (sorry).

You have to spawn in. Once you are in then go and join a squad. That should solve your problem. Welcome to the forums.

Yeah, you can only swap squads when you first come in to the server (have yet to spawn). After that you have to spawn in to join a squad. This is there to stop players from just hopping onto squads in order to use the squadleader as a spawn point, or spawing on a still alive squadleader while all the flags are gone.
