Undeserved Medals

Has anyone ever gotten a medal that they did not earn? Last night I got my ground based medallion which according to ea requires:

In a Round
20 Kills
Total
100 Captured Control Points
200 repair points

Well I only have 70 repair points and still have this medal.

Also how do you get the purple heart medalion? Requirements are:

In a Round
0.25 Killeath ratio

I know i have had rounds where I had 4x the amount of deaths as kills and I never got this. I actually only have a few medals overall but I am just curious about this one.

Has to be 5 kills and 20 deaths. Need to reach 20+ deaths I believe. At least in BF2 it was that way.

I can confirm this about the Purple Heart medal (p.s., if you want to get this medal, a good way is to play the support guy in an anti-armor squad).

I got my Good conduct and Legion of Merit 3 times each. I don't know why either. I did report it to EA. last thing I want is to be a exploiter

Thanks for the tip I am pretty sure I can find lots of ways to die 20 times. Now if I could only get those 5 kills.

If you check the Ground Base Medallion’s description on BFHQ, you will noticed the required number of repair points has changed from 200 to 70. It seems this fact was not widely publicized by EA and that they have yet to update their website to reflect this change.

Yeah some badges and stuff have awk errors. Like the time bar of the Armor Service Badge - it only shows pure Tank Hours while the requirments also include Walker hours. So I got my Gold badge on 15/50 hours on the bar. Also Medihub hours were counted double for some time. So I had 30 Medic Hours but 60 Medihub hours already.


When the EA masterserver fails to submit your correct rank to the Server you will be a noob rank and make those ribbons again. Yet they usually dont count in BFHQ even tho they will show up as most recent awards. Only sometimes the career points somehow slip thru again.
