2012: The end of the world?

As most of you probably have heard, 2012 is when the Mayan calendar ends. There have also been a LOT of prophecies that end in 2012 from other parts of the world. What is it about this year that has gotten groups from all different parts of the world to look at it? Coincidence?

What do YOU think is going to happen?

I think the clock is going to roll over, bringing us to 2013...

UNLESS, we have another four years of Republican in the White House, in which case 2012 is a good estimate.

OH GOD! IT’S THE APOCALYPSE!
I mean just think about it…

Nations will fight on holy land.
A great tyrant will be overthrown by another
The seas will boil (almost there with global warming)
And now the second coming of man

Lord only knows what will happen in the next 5 years before its 2012

(more ranting will continue when i find more of the seven signs or whatever)

I think 2012 is when we're planning for TG to become the supreme power in the universe.

Heres my predictions for 2012:
-Natural Selection 2 will be released, at which point the HL2 engine will be as obsolete as the HL1 engine is now.
-BF2 will actually start having decent technical/customer support. Unfortunately nobody will be playing it anymore as it wont run on windows 2010...but battlefield 3 (which has crappy customer/tech support) does.
-We will see the 59th installment in the R6 series.
-Counterstrike will still be the biggest selling game on the market.
-TG will have over 10,000 members in 2011 and Apophis will start secretly transmitting us mid control messages so that by the time new years rolls around, we're all programmed to go. Shortly after midnight, we all login and use our collective haxs to shut down everything on the intarwebs except TG and then force more people to join the legion. By the time we've recruited over 1,000,000 people (less than 12 hours later), all the major cities will be in ruins and the new nation of Tacticonia will rise and declare war on all other nations, to be settled in full team matches on Bf3, Ns2, and CS:S4. They say no. We launch nukes. End of world.

By 2012 Hillary Clinton's Ass will grow so huge, it will explode and destroy half the universe. The other half of the Universe will just chill for around another 42 Billion years, by then all the stars will die out and then the whole universe is gone.

This of course, is just an Educated Guess, and very well may never happen.
