Moose vs. Helicopter

I'm guessing that this was not optimal for the tagging/relocation project that they were on. Start with a tranq dart, end with a dead moose and a broken helicopter.

Lots of people eat moose meat. Here in Maine, there is a moose hunt every year, and people eat that meat (I personally don't enjoy it, but lots of people do). Many Alaskans diets consist of moose meat.

This is a sad accident. Like the article says, traquilizers are drugs. The poor moose had no idea what he was doing. He was out of his mind.

On the up side, you can bet someone probably ate that meat.
