Exclamation EA Link help needed NOW

I bought NS and my account was charged, however it's not there available to download or install. I got a message in the systray telling me my download was complete, but there is nothing for me to do, I don't see it available anywhere in the EA Link window.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

Does someone have a way to actually contact EA to get help? I want a phone number, not a web form that they will not respond to. I want my game but think this is going to be an issue now.

Re: EA Linnk help needed NOW

I asked on teamspeak and the advice is uninstall EA link then reinstall. (maybe copy folder where all your downloads are to save downloading 2142 or patches again)

Or, maybe on release day EA link is strained by the volume of people buying

Re: EA Link help needed NOW

JMJ, uninstall EA Link.
Delete the EA Link folder from Program Files.
Empty your Recycle Bin.
Reinstall EA Link.
Restart Computer.

NS should now appear once you start EA Link and login to your account.

I was gonna add that maybe his game was hiding underneath all the stuff his neighbor has laying out on the lawn, but it looks like JMJ already found it....

Re: EA Link help needed NOW

Birdie, mine did the same thing. You need to open EA link up, then click on the top left drop down (I think it is the file dropdown or something, I can't check I am at work - It is the same place you can manually log out and log back in) There is an option to "Clear cache" Do that then restart EA Link. It then allowed me to purchase, d/l and install NS.

Re: EA Link help needed NOW

No problem buddy. Glad I can help. Just note, that if for some reason that doesn't work for you, another thing people have had to do is uninstall, download then reinstall EA Link. (You also may have to explore your program folders and manually delete the EA Link folder so there isn't any remnants of the program left after uninstall before reinstalling it.)

Re: EA Link help needed NOW

I'm logged in to EA link, go to buy the thing, and then it wants me to create a new account. Why would I want a new account? I have my BF2 boosters on this one and want to keep everything together.

I went to the My Account webpage and simply reentered my email address and it's letting me buy now. Why do I keep dealing with EA? Everything with them is just so frustrating.

Just for giggles, I clicked the radio button that said I didn't agree to the EULA and purchase agreement.. and my download started. Go EA!
