FLY Squad 03/11/2007 9.30pm Eastern

The previous round i saw the air transport so I created FLY squad to take advantage of it. apparently it spawns at 'H' on the map when you get west bridge. But there is a danger, that is a spawn point of the enemy when they have west bridge and they may just steal your newly spawned dropship.

In the end we didnt get to fly at all, it was the old fashioned foot advance, first getting under the bridge, we probed west flag but it was too strong, so we abandoned that and went for east and that flag was was easy. Then up onto alley. I did a good beacon placement to the far east. Out of bounds and behind a building. The pods come in behind the building and are difficult for the enemy to see. I told my guys that when podding to immediatly run into bounds. This backup spawn point worked a few times to recap the alley flag.

I saw your squad but our team was like unable to get and hold West Bridgehead for more than 10 seconds.

Even having 3 walkers 1 apc and 1 goliath didnt work out.

On the positive side - we DID the the flag 3ß something tickets before the end and my Transport gunner was able to get 10 more kills in.

The transport is a ridiculus strong toy on this map. Earlier this afternoob I got a gunner of mine 77 kills total.

We had one side of the bridge and the enemy team just kept spawning and spawning on the other side - with noone bothering to look up.

Thanks for the thanks, but I wasn't in your squad, actually. Squad bug got me, so my solution sometimes is to be the Commander so I don't get kicked. Anyhoo, you NEVER got in the air, which struck me as rather funny, especially considering we didn't even get West Bridge until late in the game, so you guys were stuffed anyway. Oh well, at least I got to tease you a bit over VOIP about it.

By the way, how is that Fly squad going?
