Problem Joining Server

I'm a supporting member and I can not join the 2142 server, it keeps telling me it's full. it is full, but not full of fellow TGers. I have my PID in my profile too.

could it be maybe that it's full of other SM's?

yes I did.
I have not been banned, and I can join cains server and moongamers.
sigh.. Guess I am stuck with POE2 tonight

Actually I have had the same problem recently. Is it supposed to work first try for SMs or will it fail the first try, kick a non-SM, then work the second try?

Sometimes it takes me up to 20 tries to get in. Once I am in I never get booted so I know it recognizes me.

This should work. It takes 10-30 mins for the forum database to talk to the autoadmin program. Did you try to join in that time? Have you tried to join since your first attempt on a full server ?

The other thing it could be is the way the last two slots work. anyone can try to join on the last two slots. Supporting members get in but non-supporting members are kicked after the loading screen. The point here is if 2 non-supporting members were, for a moment, joining at the same time, the sever would show full at 50/50, they would be occupying the 2 last slots for 15 secs while they are kicked. So always join when its 48/50 or 49/50

If the last 2 slots are taken momentarily by two non-supporting members then you will get a server full message.

If you join on one of the last two slots then you will have the map start to load. If you are joining as a supporting member (as you are) then the autoadmin program first sees if a squadless kick is underway (ie a slot becoming free) if there is no squadless kick then the program selects the longest non-supporting member on the server and kicks them, to make room for you as you join. So if you are a supporting member and you see the map loading then you should be in every single time.

how many of those times do you get a server full message and how many does the kick happen during / after map load. Exactly at what point is the kick(s) happening.

The server was full before hand in those cases so I don't even get to the loading screen but the thing that was confusing me was I didn't understand how the server could be completely full of SMs. You answered the question for me tho, as it's just non-SMs spam rejoining trying to get it and creating an artificial "full" condition.

I too have been getting this. over the past few days, it has taken up to 10 minutes to get in with pretty constant click spamming.

I've been having the same problem for a while now. I think it started actually when the server went from 50 slots to 48. I thought that maybe the auto-admin program hadn't been changed but at other times it works fine so I don't know.

interesting several people saying the same thing
it seems the 2 reserved slots are getting clogged too often and SMers trying to join are getting the server full message, there must be a lot of visitors trying to join our server

I've been getting "server full" messages the past week and the past 2 days have been really bad. On top of that a lot of times I'll see the server at 48/48 which makes no sense. I've been giving up and closing out of the game instead of playing on a pubby.

EDIT: The whole 48/48 thing is going on right now, so I guess I'll go play checkers.

I just got the same message "server full" for the first time tonight, it was stuck on 48/48. Interesting, i Checked all my #'s and im correctly posted under a SM.

Even tho I am no SM I got the full message thing yesterday for extended periods of time (no attempt to load map whatsoever) - seems something wrong rly
