Partial cloaking?

Was EU assault tonight tasked with defending Office Ruins, southwestern flag, Cerbere Landing. Up in the block house. Noticed my flag start to fall and moved to the bombed out building, as I approached I noticed a pair of legs sticking out of the wall. Looked in through the window and saw nothing, fired into the floor and a dead enemy recon uncloaked. Wondering now if he cloaked as he heard me approach, should have backed up a bit to see if the legs were still visable. I suppose I could have knifed his legs.

I knifed one person at the start of my career but with my poor k/d ratio I have better things to do. There is a bullet out there and I have to go find it.
